Grandma was released from the nursing home today. You can hear it in her voice how truly happy she is. February 23rd she had surgery, thought she would be away from home for 5-7 days. Here we are, 42 days later, and she is home. I am so thrilled. Before going she was lucky enough to get rid of her wound vac. They felt she no longer needed it. Welcome home Grandma!
Today was also a sad day for me. Amber called, (J &C's cousin's mom--got that?). Tonight her granmda passed away. She knew it was coming, she was in her 90's and her heart was failing her. Amber was completely okay with her grandma passing. Amazingly strong. Until it happened. She was going to go see grandma this weekend, she is east of the mountains so she couldn't just up and go anytime. When Amber called she made me cry. How I wish I could make it better, give her those last moments with her grandma. Grandma's heart just couldn't hang on and it broke Amber's heart. Please include them in your prayers this week, it's going to be a tough week.
