The Tongues

If there is one thing my grandma can't stand, its a kid sticking out their tongue in a picture and wasting her film. No, she hasn't stepped into the digital age, she likes that old fashion film. My grandma wanted a picture of them together so I sat them there. Take one was okay, but could have been better. So I decide to stand just behind and to the right of my grandma and make faces at them to get them laughing, it worked and then I stuck out my tongue and well, they did too just as she hit the button to snap the pic. Oh how I laughed as I realized the flash went off just as the tongues came out. And they fact that they did it at the same time, at just the perfect time, made me laugh harder. This of course irritated my grandma and the complaining began. But it was too late, the picture was taken, it wasn't digital and short of wasting her whole role of film there wasn't anything she could do, but complain. So she did. And I laughed. And so did Julian. Carlos, he enjoyed sticking his tongue out a few more times. My grandma found the humor in it later, after the film was developed. She brought me a CD of the pictures and had chuckle about it a bit. I'm still amused!
