Julian

He has refused to get his hair cut. He likes his 'long hair' and wants a 'skater style'. It was looking rough. Really rough. I tried to get him in for a trim, every time met with the same 'no thank you'. I had given up. Many times he would say "tomorrow could you take me for a cut" but when the next day came his mind had changed. He wouldn't want to go anymore.

But today, today was a great day. He told me he wanted his haircut. I was ready to leave the moment he wanted to go. BUT, then he said "and I want a mowhawk that is yellow. Not yellow that washes out. Real yellow". :::Sigh::: So I agreed ... thinking I'd frost it for him and after sitting through that he wouldn't ever want to do it again. So off we went ...

The solution was a faux-hawk.
He was thrilled. Oh and the yellow hair .. spiker gel. He doesn't want his hair to be yellow anymore either. Whew! I was having visions of my kid with no hair on the sides and a huge frosted spike!
