Tick Tock Tick Tock

Tick Tock, the sound I hear through the baby monitor. Perhaps the most wonderful sound in my entire life! Its the sound of freedom, the sound of more room in our house, the sound of the clock in my boys room. Finally, their own room. Oh how I have dreamed of the day they would have it. I figured it would be upstairs, but no its on the same floor as us. A little remodel with the help of my wonderful friend Bill and I have a new found peace in my life.

My bedroom is huge, who knew? I sure didn't. With 4 people, all their crap, bunk beds and toys there was no room. I felt like we were living in a telephone booth. But alas, they have left. All of their things and we are left with a GIANT room that seems like it might echo if I speak. I can't wait to figure out how to oranize and arrange it. Something is missing .. there is an empty spot. Surely I can fix that with a shopping trip. but that spot can't just be EMPTY!

Tick Tock, Tick Tock, deep breath from my youngest who is acutally napping in HIS room, not in MY BED. Nope, I am on my bed typing this post. That couldn't have happened a week ago, or even 2 days ago. MY ROOM was off limits at nap time .. but no more! Tick Tock ... Tick Tock, he's still sleeping. Maybe I will do something productive like dishes while he naps. Nah! I'll enjoy MY ROOM!

You guys get it, right? I really am happy to have MY ROOM back!
