Seattle ...

What does a mom and 2 kids do in Seattle while dad is at the Mexican Consulate? Well .. let me show you ...

First they walk around Seattle and look at street art .. gotta love Belltown and its diversity .. from ghetto to artistic in 2 blocks.

Then to the local Starbucks to get mom her coping device (COFFFEEEEEE as Carlos says) and the kiddies a snack.... Then to the car for said snack cause the park is scary and the Consulate is NOT HAPPENING! Its packed, wall to wall people, no chairs ever left!

A little pretend driving ....

Adjust the raido (that isn't on) to the appropriate volume

say it with me "LIGHT ON" ..... pause to laugh....."LIGHT OFF"

Once light on light off gets boring we investigate the floor ...

Then we check out the sunroof.... and J gets in on the light on light off game ....

Doesn't last long ... now we need to see how the carseat belts work, you know so we can take them off or get out of them on the freeway in the near future

And once that gets boring we should ... climb our brother!

And then convince your brother that being in the back of the car is fantastic, so brother joins you.

And then we have just had enough ... so .... we cry

A little more for good measure...

Mom gets fed up, pretends that the kids aren't both crying (sorry folks, no pics of J crying he was smart enough to hide in the back) and starts taking pics of herself pretending to be happy .. yep see the happiness????

But at last ... mom took the kids for another walk ...

After all, the Space Needle wasn't THAT far away!

We went to Westlake center mall and ate, then took the monorail to the Seattle Center and then took a nice walk back to the car and headed home.
